A multimedia artist who lives and works in Central and Eastern Europe. Her practice stems from unsystematized forms of knowledge—gossip, folk tales, indigenous narratives. She is interested in quasi-documentary work, which allows her to collaborate with various human and non-human communities. Together with them, she observes contemporary intuitions in the context of post-end-of-the-world reality. She creates works that are characterized by anxiety, eeriness, spirituality, and emotionality.
In addition to the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, she studied at the UdK University in Berlin, the ZHdK University of the Arts in Zurich, and the LUCA School of Arts in Brussels. Her works have been shown in Poland and abroad—on screens located at Piccadilly Circus in London, K-Pop Square in Seoul, and Yunika Vision in Tokyo (by Circa Gallery and Dazed Magazine), at Manifesta 14, the Zachęta National Gallery, the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, the Center of Polish Sculpture in Orońsko, and the Ujazdowski Castle Center for Contemporary Art. Winner of the Best Artistic Diplomas competition in Gdańsk, finalist of the Class of 2021 competition (Circa, Dazed), and Hestia’s Artistic Journey. After a year-long residency organized by the Contemporary Theater in Szczecin and Münchner Kammerspiele, she directed a play at the Contemporary Theater in Szczecin together with Anna Mazurek. She also collaborates with theaters as a set designer. She was a member of the Program Council of the Center for Contemporary Art ZU in Warsaw.
