The main focus of this film are young people. Based on observations, collaboration with a dog trainer, but also with climate activists, we wrote the script. The purpose of this work was to think about the situation in which they live. They are brave, intelligent, they devote a lot of their free time to research and activism, but it is very difficult to define against whom and for what they are fighting. Bruno Latour says that first you have to deal a death blow to Nature or, at best, walk away from it for good. Vilem Flusser, Franco Berardi believe that we live in a time when the future of continuous human development has been finally closed, exhausted and effectively discredited, so that no one is waiting for it anymore or wants to co-create it. But activists want to do it. We wanted to reflect on this complex problem by focusing on the human-dog relationship, and refer to Donna Haraway’s manifesto, which is not just an attempt to write about dogs, but a manifesto for taking animals seriously, not just as metaphors and a starting point for further consideration. Haraway traces the parallel and sometimes overlapping evolution of humans and dogs. By creating the concept of „related species” she proves that without dogs we would not be what we are now (as dogs).
